Raytheon Awards Ultra MSI For Being "Outstanding"

March 16, 2004: In February, 2004, Raytheon Technical Services Company of Burlington, MA visited Ultra MSI to present Raytheon's STARS Outstanding Vendor Award. STARS stands for Standard Terminal Airport Replacement System. The FAA/STARS program is an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) funded upgrade of existing US Air Traffic Control (ATC) displays with newer, state-of-the-art displays manufactured by Raytheon. Ultra MSI supplies a key component for this advanced equipment.

During the visit, Raytheon's spokesperson pointed out that “Raytheon and Ultra MSI have had a long history of working together. Ultra MSI has always responded to the needs of Raytheon and it has been recognized by everyone at Raytheon involved with the STARS program. In appreciation of Ultra MSI's efforts, we are proud to present to you with this award.”

The award, which is a bronze and wood-grained plaque, was given to Ultra MSI because Raytheon believes that Ultra MSI “has performed over and above the requirements expected of a quality supplier” in support of the FAA/STARS program. The award also states that Ultra MSI's “exemplary performance, high quality standards and the ability to meet the STARS program’s demanding schedule merits this award.”
